Yoke
The HomeSim yoke is designed as an add-on to our cockpits, but can be well used as a stand-alone 6-axis USB joystick. The case bottom and the mechanical fixing of all parts are build by stainless steal. The yoke is designed to be mount onto a desk and under a desk; simply mount the case from bottom side for under-desk mounting.

The following picture shows the variant of a yoke with a vertical trimmer and two motor axis for throttle and mixer that fits best to our Midline cockpit without controls. At the rear side of the yoke you can connect further switches (potential free close contacts) and assign them as via joystick configuration.
The HomeSim yoke can turn left and right for a total of nearly 180 degrees. The movement in- and out is about 190 mm.

A compact variant of the yoke mechanic (without trim and levers controls) is interesting for those, who built their own hardware and requires a high quality mechanics and huge, realistic "movements". The case bottom and the mechanical fixing of all parts are build by stainless steal; the high-precision potentiometers still have cables connected. The bottom plate is prepared to mount the optional joystick board.

The following picture shows the USB joystick board of the HomeSim yoke, which fits perfect to build your own high-grade yoke. The joystick board is easily connected to a USB port of your PC and works as a 6-axis joystick (2*10-bit, 4*8-bit analog-digital converter) including a 8-direction coolie-hat plus additional 24 keys. 8 keys could be easily connected from "outside" and allows to connect any contact element (keys or switches).
A schematic of the board is included in delivery.
